The objective of this competition is to find and promote grassroot entrepreneurs across India that have mastered innovative and sustainable solutions in skill building for India.
Selection Criteria: Please read the detailed selection criteria here.
Rewards:The winners for the business plan category will receive the following rewards:
> National visibility: Promotion through websites, social media and blog stories
> Network opportunities: Introductions to investors, high-profile event passes
> Non-financial support: Access to renowned experts, training courses
One national and five regional (East, West, North South & Central) winners for the Idea Category will receive national visibility through websites, social media and blog stories.
Categories:The different categories and sub-categories are:
> Idea: Students and entrepreneurs with an idea in skills space
> Business Plan: Students and entrepreneurs with a for-profit plan in skills space
Solver:
The competition is open to both students as well as entrepreneurs.
You are a student if, you are enrolled at an educational institute pursuing a full-time course (UG/Graduate) as on the date of submission or Feb 2013. All the team members should be student; alumni not allowed.
You are an entrepreneur if, you have a for-profit venture in the skills space or you could be an aspiring entrepreneur with a for-profit plan in skills space. A student or team of students can register as entrepreneurs; however the vice versa is not permissible.
General Rules:
> All the team members should be citizen of India
> Each team should have minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 individuals
> A student or team of students can register as entrepreneurs; however the vice versa is not permissible
> Teams are encouraged to have members from diverse backgrounds (as much as possible)
Connector:
> Can be any individual worldwide
> Has to request the nominated company to apply online
> Has to provided a reason for the nomination
