IRC, TARU and Ennovent partnered to accelerate the growth of early-stage businesses with innovative sanitation solutions for rural India.
50 business solutions were crowdsourced through a nationwide search and a cohort of six was selected for technical assistance, following interviews, expert assessments and business reviews. 25 mentors worked with the six cohort members to diversify their revenue streams, strengthen their partnership models, develop their distribution channels and prepare for an investor showcase.
A final investor showcase event was organised where the entrepreneurs were given an opportunity to pitch their businesses to prospective investors, with Garv Toilets emerging as the winner.
